On October 21st 2011, ParamCARE Foundation raised awareness on Breast Cancer at Township of Edison, 1st Floor 100 Municipal Blvd. Edison, NJ.
Edison Township Department of Health & Human Services held a Breast Cancer Awareness event in collaboration with ParamCARE Foundation, JFK Medical Center and The wellness community of Central New Jersey in affiliation with Cancer support community.
ParamCARE Foundation provided informative materials on breast cancer in the form of newsletter and brochures. The materials contained detailed information on preventing cancer, risks and benefits of breast cancer screenings, benefits of nutrition and yoga in prevention of diseases, benefits of nutrition and yoga during cancer treatment, benefits of quitting tobacco, information on services provided by ParamCARE foundation to help one quit tobacco. Addiction quitting is achieved by our addiction counselor and support groups. ParamCARE foundation received great response in our effort to increase the health of our community through awareness and education.
JFK medical center provided medical information on performing self breast exams. Discussion on age and frequency of breast cancer screenings were done. Professional from The Wellness Community of Central New Jersey provided informative materials on Cancer and support services offered by them.
